Bellarine Bayside is the appointed Committee of Management for the local coastal reserve from Point Richards in Portarlington to Edwards Point in St Leonards. The Bellarine Bayside Committee is responsible for the planning, management, care and protection of the assets and crown land along (approximately) 17kms of foreshore.
The Bellarine Bayside Committee of Management has revised its meeting arrangements to be more efficient and aligned with its sister foreshore committees. While our ordinary meetings will no longer be open to the public, we are very interested in listening to ideas from stakeholders about future projects and coastal management activities. We wish to invite any interested community members or local groups to come along and chat to Committee members over morning tea or to contact us if they wish to make a short presentation to the full Committee.
The purpose of the Board Charter is to define the role, policies and processes of the Committee of Bellarine Bayside and its members (the Directors) to assist them in fulfilling their duties and obligations.
Bellarine Bayside is looking to facilitate and assist the formation of a number of Coast action/Coastcare groups at Portarlington, Indented Heads and St Leonards. More information.
